As a leader in the underground mining industry for more than 45 years, Aramine designs innovative machines and solutions for more responsible, more human and more efficient mining. Experts in narrow vein mining, Aramine has developed the world’s first battery-powered, cleaner and more sustainable mining machine: the miniLoader® L140B, which is part of a complete range of small and medium sized section machines. In an ongoing effort to make mining more sustainable, and thanks to its mining expertise, Aramine is also specialised in the remanufacturing using an elaborate process, Aramine’s experts remanufacture machines that have been parked by the mine giving them a second life. These initiatives are accompanied by a full range of on-site services around the world (audit, training, repair, commissioning). Under the name “SmartParts®, by Aramine”, the company offers one of the largest ranges of genuine spare parts, components and accessories. Based in Aix-en-Provence, the family-owned company operates in 88 countries and runs 5 subsidiaries worldwide. Through its African subsidiaries, Aramine is also an official distributor of Astec, Atlas Copco, Normet, and HBM machines (in authorized countries).
The L140B mining loader is the first battery-powered machine designed and manufactured by Aramine since 2016. After several years of research and development, we were able to offer our customers a model specifically designed for narrow vein sections, with zero CO2 emissions. The major innovation is the creation of a fully detachable energy module at the rear of the machine, with charging cooler and integrated charger. With the exclusive Quick Replacement System, the machine can operate without interruption: one energy module is connected to the electrical network and recharged, while the other is used by the machine. The L140B offers optimised productivity thanks to its 0.7m² bucket and 1.3t tramming capacity. Battery-powered machines have many advantages, and offer better working conditions for operators: less noise, less maintenance, lower ventilation costs, lower ambient temperatures, etc.
