Emesent is an expert in SLAM-based LiDAR mapping, enabling companies to visualize and understand complex, GPS-denied environments.
Hovermap supports autonomous drone flights, LHD and vehicle mounting, and handheld scanning for underground mapping.
GX1 extends this capability with integrated cameras and RTK, providing high-accuracy, georeferenced, true-color point clouds for surface and infrastructure applications.
Emesent will be demonstrating Hovermap, a SLAM-based LiDAR mapping system designed to capture high-resolution 3D data in complex, GPS-denied environments.
Hovermap enables rapid 3D mapping of environments that are difficult or unsafe to access. It generates accurate 3D point clouds used for visualization, measurements, volume calculations, and change detection for applications such as underground mining, tunneling, and industrial inspections.
Core components include the Hovermap LiDAR sensor with integrated LiDAR, IMU, and onboard processing; deployment platforms for handheld, drone-mounted, or vehicle/LHD-mounted use; an internal battery power system; a laptop for live data visualization and demonstration; and mounting interfaces and accessories.
At the exhibition, Hovermap will be demonstrated in handheld mode. Drone-based and LHD-mounted deployments will be explained using pre-recorded datasets, videos, and visuals.
