G+ Plastics is the trusted partner of mining professionals for the design and manufacturing of high-performance polymer solutions. For the past three decades, we have applied our unique expertise to the specific challenges of the mining industry, developing products engineered to perform in the most demanding environments. Backed by a multidisciplinary team with deep knowledge of polymer properties and their applications in mining operations, we design innovative solutions in critical areas such as mine ventilation, health and safety equipment, and components requiring enhanced resistance to abrasion and corrosion. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our state-of-the-art 2,300 m² facility featuring automated production lines, our rigorous manufacturing processes, and our extensive 383,353 m² grounds, ensuring efficient supply management. This is further supported by responsive, personalized customer service—built on a true understanding of operational realities. This comprehensive approach to quality has earned us the trust of over 50 mining companies worldwide. Driven by strong values, we believe innovation is born in the field, through real-world day-to-day challenges. That’s why we work hand in hand with our mining partners to develop practical, durable, future-focused polymer solutions.
We will be demonstrating our new collapsible ventilation elbow design, developed to allow up to 20 degrees of angle to better follow the natural curvature of underground mine drifts. What makes these elbows unique is that they are fully collapsible, just like our standard ventilation ducts. This design significantly increases shipping capacity, which helps reduce transportation and handling costs. Another key advantage is that these elbows do not require steel rings for installation and the same product can be used for both round and oval duct configuration. The demonstration will mainly involve the collapsible elbow section and standard ventilation duct components to illustrate how the system is installed and deployed underground. We will also showcase our Vacuum Release Trap. This device is designed to automatically open when negative pressure occurs in the ventilation line, preventing the ducts from collapsing under vacuum conditions and helping maintain the integrity of the ventilation system.
